According to the dyeing principle of dyes on textiles, common textile fabric ingredients are generally applicable to the following types of dyes:
Acrylic fibre - cation dye
Polyamide and protein fibers - acid dyes
Polyester and other chemical fibers - disperse dyes
Cellulose fibers - direct, vulcanized, reactive, reductive, naftol, coatings and phthalo dyes
For blended or interwoven textiles, dyes are used for their components. For example, for polyester and cotton blends, disperse dyes are used for polyester components, while cotton components are used for the corresponding dyes mentioned above, such as dispersion/activity, dispersion/reduction process, etc.
