Levelling Agent For Disperse Dyes

1. Polyester fabric

Disperse dyes have good level dyeing properties when dyeing polyester, and all dyeing fastnesses are high. At present, the polyester dyeing process mostly adopts the high temperature and high pressure dyeing method with disperse dyes, but it is difficult to color dark dyes and causes environmental pollution. Therefore, the simulation technology of polyester is very good.

Product development is the most active research topic in the textile industry in the past two decades. Superfine polyester fabric has a fast color absorption rate, and appropriate leveling agent should be added to the dyeing bath to improve leveling. The leveling agent should have the following conditions: (1) good retardation effect; (2) good migration effect; (3) good dispersion effect, especially at higher temperatures (such as 80~120 ℃) Dispersing effect on dyes; (4) Does not affect dye uptake and shade; (5) Good stability to hard water and various heavy metal ions. For example, the leveling agent RDP=2000 is made by reacting polyhydric alcohol with aromatic acid and then compounded with emulsifier, which belongs to non-ionic and anionic compound leveling agent. RDP-2000 has strong permeability and dye migration, which can improve the high temperature dispersibility of disperse dyes to a certain extent. The advantages are: (1) simple application and good effect; (2) wide process adaptability; (3) can effectively inhibit tar spots and color spots; (4) no adverse effects on the shade and fastness of the dye. The new polyester high-temperature levelling agent WYR-1 is developed by using sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, sodium lauryl polyoxyethylene ether sulfate, polyoxyethylene (7) glycerin cocoate and surfactant WYR. Performance test and application show that WYR-1 has good dye dispersibility, level dyeing property, dye migration and dye uptake, low bubble point and cloud point higher than 100℃.

2. Polyester microfiber

Compared with ordinary fibers, ultra-fine fibers have the characteristics of small filament size, large specific surface area, and high amorphous content, which can easily cause uneven dyeing. Therefore, it is very important to choose a suitable leveling agent.

In addition, β-cyclodextrin is also an effective leveling agent in the study of dispersion dyeing of polyester ultrafine fibers. Cyclodextrin is a multimeric cyclic glucose produced by the degradation of polysaccharide starch by cyclodextrin glucosyltransferase through biotechnology. Among them, the special cyclic structure of β-cyclodextrin can form inclusion compounds with most cationic dyes, so that they are slowly released during the dyeing process, slowing down the E dyeing rate and thus playing a leveling effect. And the use of β-cyclodextrin does not affect the final surface color depth and color fastness of the dye, but it is not suitable to be used with surfactants. The β-cyclodextrin ring is moderate in size, has high solubility in water, and can be biodegraded. It has broad application prospects in printing and dyeing processing.
