The Difference Of Color Fastness Between Dye Transfer And Dry Heat Resistance

Date:Dec 24, 2019

Dye transfer refers to the transfer of dye from one area to another, usually from a darker color to a lighter color, which is different from sublimation in that the former occurs when the temperature is lower than the sublimation temperature of the dye and the dye cannot be sublimated. However, the dye transfer is related to the molecular structure of the dye itself, and has no absolute relationship with the sublimation fastness of the dye, because the mechanism of the two is different, on the contrary, the dye transfer with good dry heat fastness is not good.
