Xi Jinping Meets With Uzbek Prime Minister Alibov

Xi Jinping asked Alibov to convey his sincere regards to President Milziyoev. Xi Jinping pointed out that the key to the leaping development of China-Ukraine relations is that both sides have always followed the spirit of good-neighborly friendship and mutual assistance, and always adhere to the principle of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and always pursue the concept of friendship and common development for generations. The development of China-Ukraine comprehensive strategic partnership is in the fundamental interests of the two countries and the two peoples. I attach great importance to this. I am very glad to hear that you have come to China to co-chair the fifth meeting of the China-Ukraine Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee and achieved positive results. Xi Jinping stressed that China and Uzbekistan should continue to promote high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road”, strengthen the national development strategy, make good use of cross-border roads and railways, and closely connect and expand cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, high-tech and energy. New highlights in humanities cooperation. China is willing to expand imports of high-quality agricultural products and welcome Uzbekistan as the guest country to participate in the Second China International Import Expo. The two sides should work together to combat transnational organized crimes such as the "three forces" and drug trafficking, and provide guarantees for regional security and the development of the two countries.

China is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Uzbekistan in international affairs, safeguard the common interests of the two countries, safeguard multilateralism, and promote the democratization of international relations. China and Uzbekistan should work together with other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to enhance the community of destiny, enhance the level of cooperation in various fields, and promote the further development of the organization for the benefit of the people of the region.

Alibov conveyed President Milizioev’s sincere greetings and high respects to President Xi Jinping. President Milziyoev warmly congratulated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and sincerely hoped that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, China will become more prosperous and strong, and realize the great cause of national rejuvenation at an early date.

Alibov said that China is the closest and most reliable neighbor and partner of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan will work with China to firmly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state. President Milziyoev appointed Uzbekistan to set up a special agency to coordinate development strategies with China, actively promote the "Belt and Road" cooperation, expand non-governmental and cultural exchanges, and deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries. Uganda firmly supports China's safeguarding of national sovereignty, security and unity, and is willing to actively cooperate with China to crack down on the "three forces."
